James got me a cd of worship music and I can not believe how much I have needed it today. This CD is just amazing. These are songs that Ive heard over and over, but today Ive been sitting at work all day playing this song over and over, "better is one day". I cant get over that I can have thousands of great days here, but one in heavens gates will be even better than the thousand combined here.
Ive had a rough morning, but I'm reminded of what James taught in Sunday School yesterday morning. He said that we need to always be aware of the people watching and shine our light. He used me as an example with the rude people that I have to deal with day in and day out and that I need to portray God in how I deal with people. I am so glad he taught that yesterday because Ive needed it this morning. It seems likes every mean person in JC has came in to see me this morning... but this song and the words from class yesterday morning have rang in my heart. I am so amazed at how God prepares things days in advance for us knowing what we are going to face. Isn't God awesome!!

I know you compared this to being in Heaven, but I always thought of this song as talking about being in the presence of God spiritually...not necessarily in his physical presence..does that make sense? I guess I mean like when we go to prayer and feel God or have a spiritual service that we are in the courts of God...
I'm really bad to just sing a song over and over and not really pay attention to the words,though...
You could interpret it both ways I assume... I think your right to! I love that things can go both ways!!
