Welcome!

Welcome everyone to One Roses Beauty! I decided to begin a new blog because all of my friends do not have myspace and can not see my blogs, so I chose a neutral place where everyone can read and comment.

You will find a couple of things here.

1) What is currently going on in my world... those of you who have been readers of my Myspace blog know that my life is topsy turvy... constant roller coaster, but I wouldn't have it any other way!

2.) And most importantly I want this to be a devotional place for me to jot down a few of my daily thoughts (I will try daily) or just whatever the Lord has put on my mind and heart. I hope that something God has shown me can be useful for whoever reads my blogs! It may be a song, a poem, or just some scripture... stay tunned there no telling what tomorrow will bring!!


Ok... so where did I get the name, "One Roses beauty?" Good question... for those that don't know I am a HUGE HUGE HUGE flower person. I relate a lot of things in my life to flowers. And some of my favorite Scripture is:

Song of Solomon 2:1-4
"I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.

As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

The beauty of that one rose; Christ Jesus, is what keeps me going. He saw me at my lowest of lows and sat me at the table with the king! MY KING!!!

SO... for tonight these are my thoughts. I want to welcome everyone again... please comment if you have anything to say... don't be shy... I will talk to anyone!! :) And remember when you see the title... All it took was one rose... Jesus! And he can fix anything that you have broken and it will be better than it was before.... trust me on that one!! ;) Good night!!
